I realized after I was about 45 minutes in to the Star Wars Holiday special that I felt like my torso had been stomped on for a while.

one fo the realy amazing things abotu the copy I was watching is that it also had the commercials that it originally aired with. I get the feeling that someone recorded it on a VCR. Pretty good for 1978.

I watched that when it originally aired, I was 7. God I feel old....

have you seen it in your adult life? I'll try to get a copy. its like peering into someones nightmare, and in fact I'm sure you are, since george lucas definetly has nightmares about it, in fact I'll probably have nightmares about it.

the commercials are mind blowing, because i remeber them. I'm sure you would. seeing commercials from that era hits some deep-childhood imprint and leaves you feeling kind of stunned.

No, I haven't seen it since I was a kid. It would be pretty amazing to see it commercials and all again though.
